Miles to go for Flashback Friday…

On hot summer days in Georgetown, Mississippi, we headed to Granddaddy’s farm and the swimming hole at the bottom of a huge bluff.  I don’t remember ever seeing a snake, although I’m sure my Granddaddy had run them off before we got there.  The water was freezing cold and the fun was seeing how deep you could dive down below the waterfall and then climbing the steep hill back to the cabin he had built overlooking the pretty creek.   Good times and cold water are flashbacks of summers spent in Georgetown, for sure!

What a neat memory and how great to have a picture to keep it fresh! I didn’t know there was any cold, clear water in Mississippi?! (not where I lived!)
